French Barbarians Cancel Tour to Canada and USA

The French Barbarians have pulled out of their July tour of North American Cancelation means that their will be no mid-year tour matched in Canada and the USA.

The tour had fixtures scheduled for July 04 vs Canada and July 11 vs the USA Eagles. The tour is now off due to ongoing concerns over the global pandemic that is coronavirus.

The French Barbarians’ Vice-President Denis Charvet, noted his disappointment at the cancelation. He noted that he had been looking forward to the possibility of seeing Rugby United New York center Mathieu Bastareaud playing against the French Barbarians.

The French Barbarians are now erasing their 2020 schedule altogether. The team have a match against Fiji in France in November, although at present all international matches are up in the air.
