Memorable Americas Tries – Martín Landajo vs New Zealand 2012

Argentina’s first home try against New Zealand in the Rugby Championship was special. It was not only a notable accomplishment, but it was also an excellent try. The score came from a set move from a lineup wherein four pairs of hands linked before Lucas González Amorosino broke the defense.

The fullback ran 35 meters before being tackled. He did not have a teammate to pass to, however he was able to off-load from the floor to Martín Landajo. The now 84 time capped scrum-half spotted three forwards and no backs ahead of him and backed himself to get over for the try.
