Major League Rugby confirms ‘Virtual’ schedule

Major League Rugby has confirmed their schedule for their ‘Virtual Rugby’ tournament. A full series of Rugby20 matches will be streamed online via Twitch, with select players from each team competing for the virtual crown.

Twitch is a popular streaming service used heavily by the gaming community that allows fans to interact and donate or ‘tip’ content creators. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Feeding America COVID-19 Response Fund.

The tournament kicks off on Friday, March 20, with playoffs set for Tuesday, April 6. All matches will be featured on the newly-created MLR Twitch channel. The schedule in its entirety can be seen below.
