MLR 2020 – Week 5 Broadcast Guide

The second quarter of the 2020 Major League Rugby season officially begins on Friday when the unbeaten Toronto Arrows take on the Colorado Raptors at Infinity Park. There are multiple viewing options. Online streaming will be available on For The Fans and their parent company Eleven Sports, with the Raptors website also broadcasting. Those in Canada can watch via TSN Direct.

Three games are on Saturday, the first seeing NOLA host the Free Jacks. Local broadcasts will be available on Cox Sports TV with NESN+ available for those in New England. ESPN+ will carry the game nationwide.

Overlapping schedules will frustrate viewers in the other four matches. The ‘Battle of Texas’ takes place in Houston when the Gilgronis arrive on Saturday. An hour later the Seawolves will take on the Warriors in Seattle. Both matches are on ESPN+. Local broadcasts will be available on KMYU in Utah and Root Sports in Seattle for the second game.

Sunday’s kickoffs are also staggered by only an hour forcing fans to make a decision. ATL heads north to DC for this week’s CBS Sports Network offering. The weekend ends with San Diego hosting New York, available on Fox 5 San Diego and ESPN+.

All matches will be streamed live on the official MLR Facebook page for those located outside the USA and Canada. The same Facebook streams are also available to Canadian viewers with the exception of the Arrows match.
