RWC 2021 Qualifier this Saturday – Colombia vs Brazil

Colombia play host to Brazil this coming Saturday. The match opens international competition for 2020 with the teams battling-it-out in a RWC 2011 Qualifier. RWC 2021 is to be played in New Zealand and is the next edition of what was formerly known as the Women’s Rugby World Cup.

Las Tucanes vs As Yaras will take place at the Estadio Cincuentenario in Medellín on Saturday, March 07. Kick-off is confirmed for 2pm local time.

The match is to be the first qualifying fixture for the RWC 2021 tournament. It is to be a one-off-match, meaning that there will be no return fixture. This makes it a winner-takes-it-all contest between Colombia and Brazil.

The winner of the match will advance to face Kenya in a RWC repechage fixture. The winner of Kenya vs the South American country will join one team from each of Europe, Oceania and Asia in the repechage tournament.
