Selknam are to play host to Los Ceibos at Chile’s national stadium, the Estadio Nacional de Chile. The fixture will be a second round match in the Súper Liga Americana de Rugby (SLAR) which begins on Wednesday, March 04.
The opening match of the SLAR will be an Uruguayan vs Chilean match-up. Peñarol will play host to Selknam at the Estadio Charrúa in Montevideo. In the remaining round one fixture, Los Ceibos play host to Paraguayan side, the Olímpia Lions in Córdoba, Argentina on Friday.
The Selknam vs Ceibos fixture will be the first home game for the Chilean team. It is to take place on Saturday, March 14.
The Estadio Nacional de Chile is a venue of historical significance. It played host to the 1962 FIFA World Cup Final and was the setting for the 2015 Copa América Final. It has a capacity for 48,000 spectators.
