Los Ceibos completed two victories in their SLAR preseason matches on Friday. Played in Córdoba, the second Argentine professional team took on Palermo Bajo and Córdoba Athletic in two 40 minute ruby matches.
In the first match, Los Ceibos took on Palermo Bajo and were 42-7 winners. Fullback Juan Bautista Daireaux was the star with two tries.
Game two saw an identical scoreline, yet it was a different encounter. Daireaux was agin among the scorers in what was a seven try performance from Los Ceibos. Involved as the fly half was Tomás Albornoz who showed why he has gametime in Super Rugby for Los Jaguares.
Los Ceibos next match is to be in the Súper Liga Americana e Rugby. The team will play at home in Córdoba against Paraguayan side, the Olimpia Lions on Friday, March 06.
