MLR 2020 – Week 2 Broadcast Guide

It’s another jam-packed weekend of Major League Rugby. After an inauspicious prelude on Sunday, four games will take place at Sam Boyd Stadium for Vegas Weekend. The kickoff times are sightly awkward with 11:30am local starts on both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s matches are both in Vegas, with the Free Jacks taking on the Warriors. The free-to-air app and website For The Fans (FTF) will broadcast for the first time, with the game also carried on their parent network Eleven Sports.

Four games will be on ESPN+ nationwide including Saturday’s RUNY vs Austin and Sunday’s Toronto vs Houston, DC vs Seattle, and San Diego vs Colorado. TSN Direct will carry the Arrows game in Canada. NBC Sports Washington will broadcast Old Glory’s home debut with Tendai Mtawarira set to make his MLR debut. Root Sports will air the game locally in Seattle.

Antenna TV is another digital network that will carry the San Diego match, with NOLA’s game against Rugby ATL airing on CBS Sports Network. Of interest is the absence of both ESPN News and Fox Sports 2 from this week’s lineup.

All matches will be streamed live on the official MLR Facebook page for those located outside the USA and Canada. The same Facebook streams are also available to Canadian viewers with the exception of the Arrows match.
