Argentina to face New Zealand in Mendoza for the first time

History will be made in the 2020 Rugby Championship as Argentina is to face New Zealand in Mendoza for the first time. Los Pumas will play host to the All Blacks in a fifth round fixture of the annual competition contested between Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Prior to playing host to New Zealand, Argentina will already have played away to New Zealand; hosted and faced South Africa on the road; and taken-on the Wallabies in Australia.

Estadio Malvinas has previously hosted six Rugby Championship matches, with three being against South Africa and three others against Australia. Outside of the competition it has also been used for home mid-year test matches. The first match at the ground was a 24-6 win for Los Pumas against Italy in 2007.

Tickets for Argentina vs New Zealand in Mendoza are to go on sale on March 01.
