Benetton Re-sign Tomás Baravalle Until 2022

Pro 14 side, Benetton have confirmed the re-signing of Tomás Baravalle. The Treviso based club has confirmed that the Argentine hooker will remain at the Italian side until 2022. The contract sees the former Argentina XV player securing his longterm future in an elite-level competition.

In what was his first professional contract, Baravalle joined Benetton in 2017. He made the move from Rosario’s Jockey Club as a player attached to Argentina, but one with an Italian passport.

He was in consideration for RWC 2019, unofficially as the fourth or fifth choice hooker behind the three who went – Jaguares’ Agustín Creevy, Julián Montoya, and Santiago Socino; and the French-based Facundo Bosch.
