Argentina Suffer Franco Sábato Blow for Sydney Sevens

With the Sydney Sevens approaching, Argentina has suffered the loss of the inspirational Franco Sábato. The veteran has been ruled out following a knock to his left shoulder and has been replaced by Francisco Ulloa.

Los Pumas 7’s are to compete in a challenging pool which contains France, Samoa, and South Africa. The South Americans are to open their campaign against South Africa on Friday.

After three rounds of the 2019-2020 season, Argentina are in 5th position, while South Africa and France occupy second and third respectively.

The Sydney competition is the fourth of the season and it is to be followed by the Los Angeles and Vancouver Sevens tournaments in North America; the Hong Kong and Singapore Sevens tournaments in Asia; and the London and Paris Sevens tournaments in Europe.
