Lasike and Landajo Score as Harlequins Hammer Saracens

Paul Lasike and Martín Landajo scored tries for the Harlequins in the club’s win today of Saracens. The USA Eagles center and former Pumas scrum-half both crossed for second half tries as the Harlequins were 41-14 winners over their London rivals.

Lasike touched don in the 49th minute and Landajo did so in the 75th. The former started the match at inside center while the latter was a second half replacement. Also involved for the Harlequins was Santiago García Botta who started at loose head prop.

The result pours misery on Saracens. The club was officially relegated for cheating over multiple years by breaching the salary cap. It means that the future for players at the club is in the air. This includes USA prop Titi Lamositele and Argentine prop Juan Figallo. The former of the two featured in today’s loss against the Harlequins.

With the win the Harlequins are just one point outside of the play-off’s zone. The club sit on 5th position together with the Bristol Bears on 22 points. Gloucester are in 4th position on 23 points.
