Peñarol Sign Bradley Thain from South Africa

Peñarol have signed Bradley Thain from South Africa. The 22-year-old is the second import player to join the Uruguayan SLAR team, following Colombia’s Danny Giraldo. The signature of the latter was confirmed by Uruguayan rugby expert, Ignacio Chans.

Thain is the third scrum-half at Peñarol. He joins Uruguayan Santiago Arata, and Argentine Alfredo Pueyrredón. While his usual position is scrum-half he may well be used in the mid-field as he was a center in his junior years.

Thain moves to Montevideo with a CV to his name that includes Currie Cup and five Super Rugby matches. He will arrive in Uruguay on December 31.
