Tucumán break Uruguayan hearts to win Seven de la República

Tucumán broke Uruguayan hearts to win the Seven de la República. Played over the weekend the northern Argentine province were 12-8 winners over Uruguay in the final  with Agustín Cortés scoring a try in the final play to claim the Cup Final.

Buenos Aires finished the tournament on a high, claiming the Plate. Buenos Aires toppled Rosario 19-12 in the deciding fixture. Meanwhile the Bronze Final was won 12-7 by Misiones province who downed San Juan.

The Seven de la República brought together provincial teams from across Argentina and had international flavor with Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay all involved.
