Jaguares Remaining at Vélez Sarsfield Longterm

Los Jaguares are to remain at Vélez Sarsifled for the longterm. The UAR and el Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield reached an agreement for the Argentine Super Rugby franchise to continue using the stadium for six further years.

Under the new deal Los Jaguares will play eight Super Rugby matches at the venue every year until 2025. The arrangement will also see Argentina playing test matches at the stadium. A yet to be confirmed fixture for the 2020 Rugby Championship will take place at the venue.

In 2019 Vélez Sarsfield hosted Los Pumas vs New Zealand weeks after it hosted the Super Rugby Quarter Finals and Semi Finals matches in which Los Jaguares were winners against the Chiefs, and Brumbies.
