The Pumas Sevens international had an outstanding game for Brive against Stade Français Paris, showing off his footwork and vision on one incisive counter-attack and then intercepting a pass from countryman Nicolás Sánchez to score a vital first-half try in the 26-21 victory.
The win holds Brive’s mid-table position with the club level on points with 7th-place La Rochelle after 10 weeks. Four clubs – Montpellier, Toulouse, Clermont, and Toulon – are just two points ahead. Lyon lead the Top 14 with 35 points, Santiago Cordero’s Bordeaux just one behind on 34.
