Argentina To Open November 2020 Internationals Against Scotland

Argentina are to open their November 2020 Internationals against Scotland. The match will be at the home of Scottish rugby, Murrayfield in Edinburgh on the weekend of November 06.

It is the second of Argentina’s 2020 November International matches to be confirmed. It follows the scheduling of England vs Argentina in London on November 14. An additional fixture will be added to complete a three match tour of Europe.

Argentina played two matches in Scotland as part of the RWC 2015-2019 cycle. The return was two defeats with the policy of not selecting from abroad not aiding the cause. In the most recent match Argentina failed to score a try in losing 14-9 in November 2018.

For Scotland the 2020 home game against Los Pumas will also be their opening fixture of November. It is to be followed by matches against Japan, and New Zealand over subsequent weekends. None of the dates are final for the three home games though the weekends have been confirmed.
