NOLA Gold re-sign Waguespack and Feakes for 2020

The NOLA Gold have re-signed two talented youngsters for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. Second row William Waguespack and versatile back Nick Feakes are the latest to agree new deals, joining a growing list that now numbers 24 returnees from this past season.

Waguespack enters his third season with the team though he did not make any regular season appearances in 2018. Standing 6’6″ (1.98m), the 21-year-old New Orleans native has represented the USA at age grade level. He was named in four match day squads in 2019 and made two appearances but is expected to challenge for more game time this coming season.

Originally from Canberra, Australia, 24-year-old Feakes made a big impression in his first season after joining from Lindenwood. The Collegiate All-American showed his versatility by starting at both flyhalf and wing while also covering fullback and even making a brief appearance at scrumhalf. He started 12 games with his hat trick in the Utah snow a season highlight.
