Nine Countries to Compete for Valentín Martínez in Montevideo

Nine countries are to compete for the Valentín Martínez in Montevideo. The traditional Sudamérica Women’s Rugby Sevens event will take place on November 8-9 in the Uruguayan capital.

This year’s competition will be played at Carrasco Polo Club. The rugby club will stage the event alongside the national governing body, the Unión de Rugby del Uruguay; and the regional governing body, Sudamérica Rugby.

Uruguay wil be joined by eight other Latin American countries in the competition. Six of them are from South America and two from Central America. The nine competitors are to be Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

The fixtures for the competition are currently being finalized.
