Major League Rugby signs new kit deal with Paladin

Major League Rugby will have a new kit provider for the 2020 season. Australia-based sporting apparel company Paladin will be outfitting all 12 teams with home and away kit, with the new designs to be revealed shortly. Only the defending champion Seattle Seawolves have to date unveiled their jerseys for the upcoming campaign.

X-Blades were MLR’s kit provider for the first two seasons, also designing the exhibition Toronto Arrows uniforms. Adidas shirts were worn by Old Glory DC in their exhibition campaign with the New England Free Jacks using Canterbury for their first match against the Arrows and Boathouse in the spring.

In fact this is not the first time Paladin has been used by an MLR team, having provided kit for Rugby United New York in 2018. Other professional rugby sides currently under the Paladin banner include the Western Force and four teams in New Zealand’s Mitre 10 Cup – Hawke’s Bay, North Harbour, Northland, and Wellington.

The length of the new contract has not been specified.
