The 12 Automatic Qualifiers for RWC 2023 in France

The completion of the pool stage of RWC 2019 has confirmed 12 competitors for the next Rugby World Cup. Taking place in France in four years time will be RWC 2023, continuing with the tradition of every second RWC tournament taking place in Europe, specifically within the Five Nations.

As the host nation France needed not qualify. Regardless France has done so by finishing as one of the top three teams from Pool C. Tournament qualifying rules see the the eight Quarter Finalists as well as the third placed sided from each pool qualifying directly for the following Rugby World Cup.
