Biarritz Sign Evan Olmstead

Biarritz have signed Evan Olmstead. The Canadian forward will join the French club as a medical joker for injured second-rower Edwin Hewitt.

The 28-year-old Olmstead is presently in Japan playing for Canada in what is his second Rugby World Cup tournament. Earlier today he played against South Africa while on Sunday Canada will play their final match against Namibia in Kamaishi.

Olmstead has had a decorated career. For Canada he has 32 caps while as a professional he has played for London Scottish and the Newcastle Falcons in the UK in addition to for Auckland in the Mitre 10 Cup.
