Game No19 of the Rugby World Cup saw the USA playing France in Fukuoka. It was the second match of the tournament for the Eagles, played in wet weather after a typhoon passed by off-shore. The USA were looking for a better showing after a disappointing contest against England, while France were building on their opening round win over Argentina.
