Ramiro Herrera Joins La Rochelle

French Top 14 club La Rochelle have landed the signature of Argentina’s Ramiro Herrera. The tight head prop joins the side as a medical joker, doing so from rivals Stade Français.

The 30-year-old from Patagonia was in the preliminary squad for RWC 2019 only to be left out of the tournament by Head Coach Mario Ledesma. In his place is Enrique Pieretto who is yet to make an appearance in the competition.

Herrera has 40 caps for Argentina and prior playing experience for Los Jaguares in Super Rugby. He also has prior experience for Castres. Before agreeing to terms with La Rochelle he also had an offer to join Agen.
