Americas Rankings – September 22 2019

Following the completion of international competition this weekend the Americas Rankings have been recalculated. The September 22 2019 edition is the first ever featuring Bolivia. Like all teams in the rankings Bolivia began with a ranking of 30.00 points.

The debut of Bolivia in test match rugby was a 109-0 defeat against Paraguay. Due to the gulf in rankings points between the sides there was no change in the ranking position or points for either country.

In the Caribbean Bermuda’s 33-10 win over Guadeloupe saw a gain for the hosts to now be ranked above Jamaica in 14th position in the Americas. Guadeloupe suffer a slight loss but remain ranked in the same position.

In the Rugby World Cup Argentina’s nail-bitting loss to France in Tokyo sees a 0.786 points loss. This sees Argentins fall to a new ranking of 74.18. On 71.04 points are Tonga, Argentina’s opponent next weekend in Osaka. A win will see Argentina making a notable gain.
