Michalak Slams Argentina

One week out from Los Pumas vs France in Tokyo former French fly half Frédéric Michalak has slammed Argentina. The RWC 2003, 2007, and 2015 player declared that only Pablo Materia is a world class player.

In doing so he praised Matera as being a tremendous defender and attacker, with demonstrable abilities to break the defense. The remainder of Argentina’s 31-man roster are not of the same category with Michalak deeming none to be world class players.

Michalak also deems his native France as having the means to hold off Argentina. The match between Los Pumas and Les Bleus will be played in the early hours of Saturday, September 21 on day two of the World Cup.

Michalak appeared in three RWC tournaments. His final appearance saw him leaving injured against New Zealand. That match was in Cardiff, Wales, in 2015. The following day Argentina would defeat Ireland at the same venue to reach the Semi Finals.
