Americas Rankings – September 14 2019

The Americas Rankings – September 14 edition have been updated following the completion of international competition this weekend. Competing in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic were two Caribbean sides in a Rugby Americas North (RAN) North Cup fixture between the 35th and 36th placed sides in the rankings.

The Dominican Republic would complete a 15-0 win over the British Virgin Islands. This meant that Los Tainos claimed the maximum points exchange. The updated Americas Rankings see the Dominican Republic gaining 1.037 points at the expense of the British Virgin Islands.

Prior to the match the Dominican Republic had 28.32 points and the British Virgin Islands 28.23. The result sees the Dominican Republic rising to 29.36 points and the British Virgin Islands falling to 27.19 points. This sees a rise in the Americas Rankings for the Dominican Republic above Nicaragua.
