Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro Extends Argentina Contract

Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro has extended his Argentina contract. The 30-year-old has agreed to terms to remain at home playing for Los Jaguares in Super Rugby in the 2020, and 2021 seasons.

With 54 test caps to his name Tetaz Chaparro is one of the leading Argentine props. He started at tight head prop for the first two matches of RWC 2015 while his role over recent years has seen him moving to loose head prop.

In the 2019 Super Rugby and international season Tetaz Chaparro was a constant. He and rookie Mayco Vivas were in the Jaguares’ and Pumas’ sides throughout the year and they are the two players selected to play in the position at RWC 2019 by Mario Ledesma.

In remaining at Los Jaguares Head Coach Gonzalo Quesada has secured the continued services of two of his regular starting players this past week. Fly half Joaquín Díaz Bonilla departed for France to join Racing 92 as a medical joker. He will be back in January for the pre-season.
