Cantarutti Departs Argentina For Italy

Limited options with Los Jaguares and Los Jaguares XV have resulted in Nicolás Cantarutti departing Argentina for Italy. The talented former Argentina XV player leaves for Europe at the age of 23.

The fly half will be playing in Italy for Lazio, a team to no longer have the services of Ignacio Ceballos to rivals Viadana who in term lost another Argentine fly half, Brian Ormson to Mogliano.

Nicolás Cantarutti was a PladAR player who want through the system playing locally for Tala in Córdoba before rising to the Argentina XV. He had been well-placed for a potential spot with Los Jaguares yet, with limited places he has moved abroad.

Ironically a player who will be at Jaguares in 2020 is fly half Joaquín Díaz Bonilla. He joined Racing 92 this week as a medical joker but will be back for the Super Rugby campaign. He is set to join Domingo Miotti and potentially Martín Elías. All three have plenty of experience with the Argentina XV.
