Harley Davidson moves from Glendale to Atlanta

Harley Davidson has departed the Glendale Raptors, opting instead to join expansion side Rugby ATL for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. The 26-year-old speedster confirmed the move at the RugbyTown 7s over the weekend. He is the latest of a growing contingent of young American talent in Atlanta.

There will be plenty of familiar faces for Davidson at ATL. He spent four years at nearby Life University where was a 1st Team All-American select in both 7s and XVs. The team could well field dual-Harleys on the wing with Eagles training squad member Harley Wheeler already signed on for the new season.

It will be a new-look Raptors side in 2020. After failing to make the Semi Finals in 2019, the club parted ways with Head Coach Dave Williams and promoted Peter Borlase in his place. Veteran forwards Zach Fenoglio, Casey Rock, and Peter Dahl have retired with rumors circulating that livewire fullback Dylan Taikato-Simpson is also on the way out.

Davidson leaves Infinity Park having scored 15 tries in his 25 games for the club. He is currently the all-time try scoring leader in MLR.
