Jaguares XV down Valke to secure place in Final

Los Jaguares XV downed Valke this morning to secure a place in the Currie Cup First Division Final. The Argentine side were 37-27 winners to continue their unbeaten campaign and see them matching Los Jaguares in Super Rugby by reaching the Final.

The fixture marked the second time this season that Los Jaguares XV and Valke had played each other. The prior match was vastly different as Los Jaguares XV scored over 100 points against a Valke side missing the starting line-up to a match against the Western Force.

The Semi Final saw Ignacio Fernández Lobbe’s side winning by 10 points to set-up a Currie Cup First Division Final against the Griffons who were 62-31 winners over Eastern Province.

Los Jaguares XV scored four tries with Lucio Sordoni, Leonel Oviedo, Nicolás Solveyra, and Domingo Miotti each touching down. Miotti also landed two conversions and three penalties.
