Jaguares XV Name Strong Side for Semi Final vs Valke

Los Jaguares XV Head Coach Ignacio Fernández Lobbe has named a strong side for the Currie Cup First Division Semi Final. The Argentine side will be up against Valke, a team which they hammered during the regular season.

Francisco Gorrissen will captain the team from N8. He is to be joined in the back-row from regular Argentina XV captain Lautaro Bavaro and Lucas Santa Cruz. The second-row will be Super Rugby hopefuls Jerónimo Ureta, and Ignacio Callas while capped props Javier Díaz, and Lucio Sordoni join Leonel Oviedo in the starting front-row.

In the backs Gregorio del Prete and Domingo Miotti combine in the halves. They are both names certain to feature in the 2020 Super Rugby squad. The remaining starting backs are also highly well positioned for spots in Los Jaguares.

Not involved are players called-up by Mario Ledesma for the Rugby World Cup. This means no further involvement in the Currie Cup First Division for Rodrigo Bruni, Santiago Carreras, Bautista Delguy, and Juan Cruz Mallía.
