Jaguares XV Finish Regular Season With Perfect Record

Los Jaguares XV have finished the regular season with a perfect record. In their inaugural season of the Currie Cup First Division the Argentine side not only won every match but also claimed a bonus point from every victory.

In their final regular season match Los Jaguares XV were 42-10 winners against the Leopards. The impressive win was by seven tries to two and saw center Tomás Cubilla scoring a hat-trick.

The Leopards scored one try either side of half time. It was insufficient for them to have a sporting chance of winning. The Argentine side were comfortable winners yet by a notably smaller margin than from recent weeks. The understrength side from today will enable for fresh legs to feature in the Semi Final.

Not involved in the match were Santiago Carreras, and Bautista Delguy. Both players were called-up by Mario Ledesma to prepare for this weekend’s test match against South Africa. Carreras will make his test debut from the bench while Delguy has not been deemed quite ready.
