Jaguares Sign Bautista Pedemonte from u20s

Recruitment for the 2020 Super Rugby season continues for Los Jaguares. Following the signings of Santiago Socino, and Joel Sclavi, who both returned to Argentina from Europe, the latest signing is Bautista Pedemonte from the u20s.

Born in March 14 2000 Pedemonte is yet to turn 20 yet already has two years of experience in the World Rugby U20 Championship. His performances for Argentina u20s have been of note and him becoming a Jaguar comes as no surprise.

The N8 comes from Santiago Lawn Tennis, a club from the northern Argentine city of Santiago del Estero. Both the club and city have proved to be a production line for Pumas back-rowers with current players Facundo Isa, Juan Manuel Leguizamón, and Tomás Lezana all coming from Lawn Tennis.

Pedemonte arrives with Pablo Matera departing for Stade Français, and Leguizamón having played his final season of Super Rugby. As such Pedemonte joins Marcos Kremer, Tomás Lezana, and Javier Ortega Desio as contracted back-row players.

Additional players are to be added to the roster between now and the 2020 season. Of them Rodrigo Bruni, Santiago Grondona, Francisco Gorrisen, and Santiago Montagner are well positioned with all four playing for Los Jaguares XV in the Currie Cup First Division.
