Old Glory sign Penn State captain Jack McLean

Just days after announcing the signature of Mike Dabulas, Old Glory DC have dipped into the collegiate talent pool a second time. Penn State teammate Jack McLean has put pen to paper with the expansion side for the 2020 Major League Rugby season. He is the third new signing of the off-season following Dabulas and Gordon Fullerton.

McLean led the Nittany Lions to the D1A regional championships in the spring where they were defeated by eventual national champions Life. The 22-year-old flanker from Paoli, Pennsylvania, was a four-year starter at Penn State and earned All-Conference honorable mention in 2016.

Old Glory will begin their first MLR regular season campaign in February. The Washington DC side played four matches during their spring exhibition campaign, winning two.
