Strong Jaguares XV Named to face SWD Eagles

Ignacio Fernández Lobbe has named a strong Jaguares XV side to face the SWD Eagles. With a win the Argentine side will qualify for the Semi Finals of the Currie Cup First Division.

The side features six changes from that which played last Saturday against the Eastern Province Elephants. Of them one of note sees Bautista Delguy in his first start since being injured in March playing Super Rugby.

Delguy will start on the right wing, forming a lethal back-three trio with Julián Dominguez, and Santiago Carreras. Also starting in the backs of note will be Gonzalo Bertranou, and Juan Cruz Mallía, two names very well placed for RWC selection.

In the forwards three starting players also featured in Super Rugby – Lucio Sordoni, Francisco Gorrisen, and Rodrigo Bruni. They will be joined by additional names pressing for opportunities under Gonzalo Quesada in 2020. Of note is the second-row of Ignacio Calas, and Franco Molina.

Involved for the first time will be replacement hooker Pablo Dimcheff. He flew to South Africa earlier this week as a medical joker.
