Pablo Dimcheff Gets Jaguares XV Call Up

In June Pablo Dimcheff was playing for Argentina at the u20 Championship. Today he got a call up to play for the Jaguares XV in the Currie Cup First Division. At the U20 Championship Dimcheff was the starting hooker for Los Pumitas in every match.

Dimcheff will make the step up from Buenos Aires club Pucará to the Jaguares XV. He will join fellow Pucará players Lucas Santa Cruz, Julian Domínguez, and Bautista Delguy in playing in South Africa.

Pucará is not only an important club today in Argentina but has long been so. The club produced former notable RWC players including Rimas Álvarez Kairelis, Lucas Borges, and Lucas González Amorosino.

Dimcheff is to replace José Luis González in Los Jaguares XV. González suffered a teared abdominal in this past Saturday’s win over Eastern Provence. Los Jaguares XV play again this coming Saturday against the SWD Eagles.
