Argentina Ready for Pan American Games

Argentina is ready for the 2019 Pan American Games. Taking place in Lima, Peru Argentina will compete for Gold in both the Men’s and Women’s sections of the competition which brings together competitors from throughout the Americas.

Rosters of twelve men, and women have been named, both of which are strong though there are some notable absentees. Renzo Barbier, and Máximo Provenzano have missed out for Los Pumas 7’s while Sofía González is out for the women.

González, the captain of Argentina’s Women’s Sevens is out with a serious injury having ruptured the ligaments of her right knee.

Rugby Sevens will take place at the Pan American Games from July 26-28.
