Marcelo Torrealba In from MLR For Chile 7’s

Marcelo Torrealba has been included in Chile’s 7’s roster for this weekend’s Olympic Qualifying competition in Santiago, Chile.

The Club Old Grangonian will be the setting for the competition which is to take place on Saturday, and Sunday. On the line is a place in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Torrealba is a notable inclusion for Chile but he is not the only one. Martín Vallejos, who featured in the Rugby Sevens World Cup in San Francisco, is back in the side for Los Cóndores 7’s.

There are also newcomers with debutants Vicente Tredinick (Alumni), and Rodrigo Manzano (Old Macks) both included.

Chile are to play in Pool B in Santiago. They will begin their campaign against Costa Rica. Also competing in the group are to be Brazil, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
