MLR Full Match – San Diego Legion vs NOLA Gold

The final round of the Major League Rugby regular season saw four teams entering level on points with only three spots left in the Semi Finals. One of those on the edge was the NOLA Gold, who traveled to San Diego where the Legion were awaiting in front of a huge home crowd at Torero Stadium.

New Orleans had made big changes to their tight five, handing Ross Davies his MLR debut but also lost key players Kyle Baillie and Scott Gale before kickoff. San Diego meanwhile welcomed the return of captain Joe Pietersen among others, with new signing Joshua Furno lining up in the second row.
