Schroeder replaces Thompson for Men’s Eagles

The Men’s Eagles have made one change to their roster for the Paris Sevens. Joe Schroeder comes in to replace the injured Brett Thompson. Schroeder, a veteran of eight previous events, jumps straight into the 12-man roster with Maceo Brown maintaining his spot as 13th man.

With only one tournament to play the USA trails Fiji by only two points on the overall 2018-19 HSBC Sevens Series standings. The Eagles have already guaranteed their place at the 2020 Olympics and their highest ever overall placing, but can make history once more with a strong showing in Paris.

The USA headlines Pool C after their Bronze finish in London. Their opening day opposition consists of Spain, Samoa, and Canada. All matches will be broadcast live on ESPN.
