Facundo Isa to play for Barbarians against England

Facundo Isa has been added to the Barbarians squad to play against England in the Quilter Cup match on June 2 at Twickenham. The match will honor long-standing club president Micky Steele-Bodger, who passed away last week at the age of 93.

It’s not the first time Isa has played for the world-renowned invitational side. He played alongside international stars Thierry Dusautoir, Frans Steyn, and fellow Argentine internationals Patricio Albacete and Horacio Agulla in the 2017 version of the match. Isa also lined up opposite the Barbarians for Los Pumas in the match following the end of RWC 2015.

Bristol Bears head coach Pat Lam will lead the side. He has added loose forwards Liam Messam and Bill Mata to the roster, with fullback Charles Piutau also joining the star-studded cast. 13 players are still to be added. The roster as it stands is:
