Referees Assigned for Sudamérica 6 Naciones A

The referees have been assigned for the Sudamérica 6 Naciones A. Beginning on Saturday, May 11 six countries will compete in the annual top tier level of the South American Championship.

The competition’s nine matches are to be refereed by officials from Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. They are to be assisted by locals from the six competitors – Argentina XV, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, and the Uruguay XV.

Chosen by Sudamérica Rugby as referees are Francisco González (Uruguay), Gonzalo Ventoso (Uruguay), Santiago Romero (Uruguay), Santiago Altobelli (Argentina), Damián Schneider (Argentina), Frank Méndez (Chile), Juan Pablo Federico (Argentina), Pablo Deluca (Argentina)

The appointment of Deluca completes a busy week with him also having been named by World Rugby on the panel for the Junior World Championship in the Argentine cities of Rosario, and Santa Fé in June.

Confirmed thus far as assistants are Mauricio Escalante (Argentina), Juan Manuel Martínez (Argentina), Esteban Filipanics (Argentina), Mathias Ortíz de Rosas (Argentina), Tomás Bertazza (Argentina), and Diego Colussi (Argentina).
