Gustaitis called up to Eagles for Canada tourney

The Women’s Eagles show just one change to their squad for this weekend’s HSBC Sevens Series event in Langford. Dual-international Abby Gustaitis is called into the squad at the expense of Cheta Emba. Otherwise it’s business as usual for the team that finished third in Kitakyushu.

Alev Kelter was in top form in Japan, taking home Dream Team honors after the tournament. Other standouts included co-captain Lauren Doyle and strong-running duo Kris Thomas and Naya Tapper.

The USA headlines Pool C in Canada. They will meet France, Fiji, and Spain on Saturday. A full fixture list can be seen here. All matches will be streamed live on the World Rugby Facebook page.
