MLR Full Match – Glendale Raptors vs Rugby United New York

A potentially pivotal match in the race to the playoffs took place at Infinity Park on Friday night. The Glendale Raptors went toe-to-toe with Rugby United New York. For Glendale it was a must-win situation and while there is still time, the same may yet be true for New York.

The Raptors were without injured duo Hanco Germishuys and Robbie Petzer, and gambled by starting Ata Malifa in place of Eagles flyhalf Will Magie. New York handed Marcus Walsh his first big start of the season in place of regular captain Mike Petri, and gave a debut to new signing Marcus Satavu as a replacement.
