MLR Full Match – San Diego Legion vs Glendale Raptors

The Glendale Raptors traveled to the West Coast on Saturday where the San Diego Legion awaited at Torero Stadium. Both sides had their sights on a playoff berth entering the match and with only four spots available and six teams within range, any slip up could cost a team their post-season ticket.

San Diego handed prop Aaron Mitchell his first start of the season, and opted to play scrumhalf Nick Boyer in the unusual position of wing. Glendale had their first choice front row starting together for the first time this season but had to go without Eagles flanker Hanco Germishuys due to injury.
