South Americans in MLR – Week 13 Preview

Week 13 is to be a busy round for (Major League Rugby (MLR) with four league matches. The fixtures are to be a two-two split over Saturday and Sunday with the Austin Elite having a bye.

The opening fixture will be the San Diego Legion vs the Glendale Raptors. The fixture will not involve any South American players. In game two, later on Saturday Rugby United New York host the Utah Warriors. The visitors have named Brazilian flanker Arthur Bergo and fly half Josh Reeves in their starting line-up.

On Sunday the Toronto Raptors and Seattle Seawolves are to have home advantage. In Canada Uruguayan speedster Leandro Leivas will be starting for the Arrows against the Houston SaberCats. Three of his Teros teammates will be playing for the Texans with Diego Magno starting in the second-row, Alejandro Nieto at flanker, and Mateo Sanguinetti covering prop from the bench.

In Seattle the Seawolves will be up against NOLA Gold in a top-of-the-table clash. The visitors have named Uruguayan second-rower Ignacio Dotti to start in the engine room together with Chilean Nikola Bursic.
