Jaguares Try Named as SR Play Of the Week

Lightening has struck twice as a  Jaguares try was named as the Super Rugby Play Of the Week for the second week running. Last week Domingo Miotti’s second try against the Bulls was named as the Play of the Week. The move would ultimately see Los Jaguares defeating the Bulls in Pretoria.

Seven days later the Argentine side would win again in South Africa, this time doing so against the Sharks in Durban. The performance against the Sharks was the best of the season for Gonzalo Quesada’s team.

The dominant display had numerous memorable tries but it was the first by Pablo Matera which was certainly the stand-out. Matera got the try following a kick-and-chase in which he out performed and out paced opposition backs.

The score began from a Sharks error in which Emiliano Boffelli showed soccer skills to boot the ball into the hands of Tomás Cubelli. The scrum-half then linked with Domingo Miotti who found Matera. The veteran of 58 caps did the rest.
