Moroni Ruled Out Of Facing Brumbies

Matías Moroni has been ruled out of facing the Brumbies. The Jaguares outside center suffered a blow which caused a nasal obstruction and requires surgery. The medical staff estimate that Moroni will be ready to play again on Saturday May 04 against the Stormers.

The 28-year-old has been a regular throughout 2019 for Los Jaguares. He was starting in his natural position of outside center until starting winger Bautista Delguy was injured. Gonzalo Quesada looked to Moroni to fill the void which was further enforced with Ramiro Moyano’s injury.

With Moroni now also sidelined there will need to be further reshuffling. Against the Sharks this past weekend Santiago Carreras made his debut from the bench. He and Sebastián Cancelliere are likely to be involved in Los Jaguares’ next match against the Brumbies.
