In game two of the 2019 Rugby Americas North (RAN) South Cup Martinique played at home against Curaçao. It followed the opening round fixture in which Martinique were convincing winners over Barbados.
Against Curaçao Martinique were even better. They would keep Curaçao scoreless while running in seven tries. With only two of the tries having been converted Martinique missed out on ten potential points. Had they landed the shots at goal they would have been 49-0 winners.
The RAN South Cup will continue in April with Barbados vs Curaçao. In the RAN North Cup the British Islands, the Dominican Republic, and the Turks & Caicos Islands will begin their section of the RAN Senior Men’s competition on April 13. Turks & Caicos Islands vs the Dominican Republic is to be the opening fixture.
